Not all offers will be consigned, but all offers will receive the same consideration.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR CONSIGNING AN AUCTION LOT?

Vehicles are registered at consideration of their owners and are subsequently reviewed and selected by an internal team, with the support of independent specialists.

WHAT INFORMATION SHOULD I PROVIDE / CONTRIBUTE TO SOUL AUTO?

When you submit details of a vehicle for sale, we ask you for some key details about your car. When we make the decision to include it in an auction, our team will contact you for further information.

HOW MANY DETAILS DO YOU NEED TO TELL ABOUT THE HISTORY, APPEARANCE AND MECHANICAL CONDITION OF THE AUCTION LOT?

Our goal is to ensure that our listings are the most accurate of any online auction platform. For this reason, please tell us as much as possible about the auction lot, even the least desirable parts of its history or appearance. Although Soul Auto performs some verification processes (including ITV). Soul Auto is not liable to the seller or buyer for any errors, inaccuracies or omissions in the description of any auction.

CAN I SET A MINIMUM SELLING PRICE FOR THE AUCTION LOT?

The Sellers can request that the lot is auctioned with a minimum. The value of any minimum is agreed in consultation with the Soul Auto team to ensure it is realistic. Once Soul Auto agrees to a minimum, the seller may reduce or withdraw it by written notice to Soul Auto, but you may not increase it without our prior written consent. Please note that Soul Auto, at our own discretion, has the right to make up the difference between the highest offer and the reservation if the highest offer does not meet the reservation.

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE MY AUCTION LOT IS LIVE?

Once an auction lot is open for bidding, any registered user can ask a question about it in the comments below each listing. Sellers should reply as soon as possible.

WHAT IF SOMEONE POSTS A NEGATIVE COMMENT ABOUT MY AUCTION LOT?

Our moderators will allow people to add constructive feedback on an auction lot, but if you think any comments are inaccurate, please contact us.

DO I NEED TO ALLOW THE AUCTION LOT TO BE AVAILABLE TO VISIT?

Many of our buyers will be willing to purchase an auction lot without being seen, but others may request an inspection. Therefore, we ask sellers to make auction lots available for viewing whenever possible. Buyers and sellers must not engage in any activity designed to complete or facilitate an off-site auction purchase or sale transaction.

If any auction sale is concluded off-site, you will be obligated to pay SOUL Auto COMMISSIONS that the buyer would have paid if the auction had been sold through the site. This is calculated on the last reservation you agreed to, if not, our minimum charge will apply (see fees section below).

DO I HAVE TO APPROVE THE AUCTION LISTING BEFORE IT IS LIVE?

Each listing is presented to the seller for approval before it is published. It is the seller’s responsibility to ensure that the listing is an accurate description of the auction lot. The proposed start date for the auction will be discussed at this point.

CAN I BID FOR MY OWN AUCTION LOT?

No, you may NOT bid on your own auction, nor can you have a friend bid on your auction on your behalf. If we believe that you or someone on your behalf has bid on your Auction Lot and the Auction Lot does not sell to an actual bidder as a result, you will be responsible for covering all costs incurred in preparing the advertisement that have resulted from skewing the results of your auction and your breach of the terms and conditions.

If you or someone on your behalf is found to have “bid” on an auction, we will need to disclose this information to the buyer and provide them with the option not to purchase the auction lot at no cost to them. If they wish to stop buying the auction lot, you (the seller) will be responsible for covering all costs incurred for the preparation of the auction, you will be prohibited from using the platform in the future and you may be prosecuted for committing an act of fraud or other criminal offenses.

CAN I REMOVE MY LOT?

Once you have submitted your auction lot to Soul Auto and the auction has been posted in our “Coming Soon” section, you will not be able to pick up your car. If you withdraw your car, you will be obliged to pay commission rates in accordance with the clauses of the Terms and Conditions that the Buyer would have paid, calculated on the last reservation agreed with us, or if none, a minimum charge as detailed in our rates section below.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF THE AUCTION IF THE AUCTION LOT IS SOLD?

When an auction lot is successfully sold on the platform, the commission (as detailed in our fees section below) is automatically deducted from the winning bidder’s credit card. This is a fee for using the platform and not a down payment on the auction lot. It is then digitally “presented” to the seller and buyer to complete the transaction.

CAN YOU DELETE THE AUCTION LIST AFTER IT IS INCLUDED IN SOLD?

Once the highest bid in an auction has been accepted, the auction listing will move to our “Sold” section, where the highest bid, auction end date, all photos and description will be displayed.

Bids and comments made on the auction while it was live will be removed. If an auction did not meet the reservation, the listing will be removed from the website, but can still be accessed through old links and Google searches. We do not remove an auction listing, but if we did, we would do so at Soul Auto’s discretion.

WHAT IF THERE ARE NO OFFERS HIGHER THAN MY RESERVATION PRICE?

If the auction lot does not reach its reserve price, the seller will be notified of the highest bid submitted during the auction. The seller will have 24 hours from the end of the auction to accept or reject this offer. This 24-hour period may be extended by agreement between us and the buyer. If there is no agreement to extend and the buyer is not notified of the acceptance of their final offer within 24 hours after the end of the auction, it will be considered for Being rejected. If the seller accepts the offer, we will put the buyer in contact with the seller for the sale of the auction lot.

If the seller rejects the highest bid after the auction, we will offer you the option to include the auction lot in our “Buy NOW” section, this allows the possibility of a post-auction agreement.

Please note that Soul Auto, at our own discretion, has the right to make up the difference between the highest offer and the reservation if the highest offer does not meet the reservation.

WHAT IS THE "BUY NOW" OPTION?

If the auction lot does not sell when the auction period ends, the auction lot will continue to appear on the site for a minimum of seven (7) calendar days (or more if agreed by the seller) in our section Buy now. In this section, the car can be purchased for the indicated price (buyer’s commission included) via the ‘Buy Now’ button or you can make a ‘Final Offer’ to the seller, who can choose to accept or counter until a price is agreed.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BUY AN AUCTION LOT?

The entire winning bid will be paid to the seller of the auction lot.

When you are the highest bidder in a Soul Auto online auction and the auction lot has reached or exceeded the minimum, we charge you a commission (as detailed in our fees section below). There are no additional administrative fees other than this from Soul Auto.

CAN I CONTACT THE SELLER DURING THE AUCTION?

If you have any questions about the auction lot, please post them as a comment on the chat. The seller can then reply. This avoids duplicate questions from other bidders.

CAN I INSPECT THE AUCTION LOT IN PERSON DURING THE AUCTION?

Buyers can always request to view an auction lot in person. We ask sellers to make auction lots available at convenient times.

Buyers and Sellers will not engage in any activity intended to complete or facilitate a transaction for the sale or purchase of an off-site auction.

HOW DO I KNOW IF THE AUCTION LOT HAS A MINIMUM PRICE?

Unless sold under “No Reserve”, all auction lots have a minimum price.

CAN OTHER BIDDERS 'BID' AT THE END OF AN AUCTION TO IMPROVE ME?

Our platform avoids “sniping” by automatically adding more time. Any offer received in the last two minutes will automatically trigger the additional two minute increment. After this point, only once there are no more bids within a two minute period will the auction end.

CAN I WITHDRAW AN OFFER?

Once an offer has been made, you cannot withdraw it. If you, as a successful Buyer, fail to complete an auction purchase for any reason other than the Seller’s default, you will be obligated to pay the commission (as detailed in our fees section below) for your highest bid.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF THE AUCTION IF I WON THE BID?

There are NO refunds on the buyer’s commission.

CAN I TALK TO THE SELLER AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS IF THE RESERVATION IS NOT REACHED AND I AM STILL INTERESTED?

If the auction lot does not reach its minimum price, we offer sellers the option of listing the car in our “Buy Now” section. This allows the possibility of a post-auction deal.

WHAT IF THE AUCTION LOT HAS SOME DEFECTS THAT WERE NOT MENTIONED IN THE AUCTION LISTING?

Soul Auto hosts auction listings, but the seller is responsible for confirming the listing’s accuracy. As a bidder, it is your responsibility to check the details and status of the auction lot prior to bidding.

DOES THE BUYER'S COMMISSION INCLUDE TRANSPORTATION OR STORAGE?

The buyer’s premium is a fee for using the platform. Soul Auto is not responsible for the transportation or storage of auction lots, and any costs associated with this are the responsibility of the buyer.

WHAT ARE THE BID INCREASES?

The opening bid of each auction lot can be from € 100.

After the opening offer, the increases will be as follows and will work this way also when opting for the AUTOMATIC offer.

Minimum bid increase: Each bid made must be higher than the previous one, according to the following scale:

For bids up to € 10,000.-, the minimum bid increment must be € 100.-

From € 10,001.- to € 50,000, the minimum bid increment must be € 250.-.

From € 50,001.- onwards, the minimum bid increment must be € 500.-

Bids that do not exceed the previous increases will be considered not made.

AUTOMATIC MAXIMUM BID SYSTEM:

The system that allows each user to make an automatic bid up to a specified maximum amount, which works as follows: SOUL AUTO’s own auction system will automatically increase the bid with the minimum amount necessary (the minimum bid increment) to ensure Keep your bid highest. In this way, the system will continue to outbid the other bids up to the maximum amount that the user has indicated. The user will not have to continue checking the auction and placing bids manually. He will only lose the vehicle if someone exceeds his automatic bid maximum.

If the user makes an automatic bid higher than the reserve price, the user’s first bid will automatically coincide with the minimum price.

PRACTICAL TIPS

ALWAYS OFFER, JUST IN CASE!

Don’t be afraid to participate in the auctions, as we accept offers of any level. Because the owners can reduce the minimum price at any time, you never know when you might get a great deal. We do not indicate what the minimum price is, so make sure you can buy the car before placing a legal offer.

MAXIMIZING THE SALES PRICE OF YOUR CAR

Photography is key to achieving the best possible price when selling a car, so if you think you don’t have the capacity to do so, please contact us to request a professional photographer at very competitive rates.

Make sure to clean your car thoroughly to make sure it’s in its best possible appearance.

If you can use your smartphone to record a detailed, horizontally oriented walkthrough video, this is a very useful tool on the list. If you can do it safely, a video of the car driving is also highly recommended.
