1971 LOTUS ELAN S4 COUPÉ
HIGHLIGHTS
- Este Lotus Elan S4 coupé es una buena unidad del famoso deportivo británico diseñado por Ron Hickman.
- El Lotus Elan de primera generación se produjo entre 1962 y 1973 y el fabricante inglés inauguró con este modelo una nueva forma de fabricación de automóviles que encarnaba la filosofía de diseño de peso mínimo de Colin Chapman. Utilizaba un chasis con una estructura tubular de acero al que se unía la suspensión. Sobre este chasis se fijaba una carrocería de fibra de vidrio mediante 16 puntos atornillados, consiguiendo un reducido peso final, unos 680 kg.
- Bajo el capot esconde un motor 1.6L de aspiración natural que desarrolla 115Cv, transmitidos a las ruedas traseras de 13” a través de una caja de cambios manual de cinco velocidades.
